Susan YuThis is great, doing a good job of sharing information. My Mom was #32 of the first 105. My Dad was an American citizen who went back to China to work on the the Burma Road in 1939. He met my Mom in Lashio and the made their way to the capital at the time Chungking. They were there trying to get a visa to the states for my Mom. As soon as they heard of the repeal, they applied for a visa. They arrived in New York City in May, 1945.
